Are you worried about your student handling the stressors as they prepare for and enter college? Are they stressing out (or melting down) about friends, time management, social opportunities AND, oh yeah, ACADEMICS?! It’s difficult to stay objective when they are having difficulty, and they don’t necessarily want to hear from their parents anyway. And while it’s never too late to teach children emotional skills and resilience to be mentally stronger, the earlier we start, the more time they’ll have to sharpen those skills before being sent off into the adult world.

Resilience Training 101 This 6 week program incorporates everything in the 21 day program and its benefits, plus enhanced opportunities to build and broaden skills and experience in a wider context. Often referred to as “mental preparedness/adulting”, this is a great program for bridging that time period of getting started in a new year/semester, when making the move to college and a new environment, or when preparing to take exams (finals, MCATs, LSATs, etc.).
In addition to the benefits listed in 21 Days, this program allows my clients to know and fine tune: – How to avoid getting sick, overeating, under sleeping, etc. – How to manage new relationships in a healthy way – What words to say to avoid, or when in, conflict – How to keep an objective perspective in any situation – Learn how to better co-habit with new people in a small space! – Understand socializing vs. overdoing it – safe choices
Programs for Adults/Parents –
21 Days – From Stress to SUCCESS
This program is specific to the stressors common to adults – parents or not. These include, but are certainly not limited to, career, relationships, family, financial pressures, planning for the future, etc. Of course, there is also the stress adults feel related to their children – particularly if a child is experiencing an issue. I already know that parents know what’s best for their kids, but resisting parent input is a part of their necessary growth towards independence. Let’s face it – it can be stressful. Parents need help too. Together, we enhance awareness about experiences, gain objectivity, then do the work.
